We make few things, slowly, from materials that already exist. These are the facts behind that sentence.

Recycled gold
All of our gold is 18k, certified recycled and refined in Europe. It comes from old jewelry, industrial scrap and dental gold, melted and purified to the same standard as newly mined metal. Chemically there is no difference; environmentally there is.

Stones
Our diamonds are grown in laboratories in Europe and cut by the same hands that cut natural stones. Our sapphires and emeralds are natural: we buy them from cutters who can document the mine or the parcel, and we pass that information on to you with the piece.

Packaging
Boxes are FSC-certified board covered in recycled paper, pouches are undyed organic cotton, and we ship without plastic. The box is made to be kept, and we would rather you used it than threw it away.
