An emerald-cut emerald of 0.60 carats, the green of a vineyard in June, held in a fine bezel of 18k recycled yellow gold on a 45 cm cable chain. The bezel has an open back so light reaches the stone from behind.

Details
The emerald comes from the Kagem mine in Zambia, with origin documented from rough to finished stone. It is lightly oiled, as nearly all emeralds are, and nothing more. Chain adjustable at 42 cm.

Caring for this piece
Diamonds and sapphires can be washed in warm water with a drop of mild soap and a soft brush. Emeralds are more delicate: avoid ultrasonic cleaners, heat and sudden changes in temperature, and keep them away from perfume and oils.
